Stand in Love

50 people were killed.  Beyond that, nothing matters.  It is not 50 gay people, 50 people of Hispanic decent, 50 lesbians, 50 bi-sexual people.  It is simply 50 people!
This recent attack, breaks my heart.  The fact that love is met with such hate is far beyond my comprehension.  Tragically, I have seen things online where others are saying they deserved to die.  When did being alive become a crime?  At what point did loving someone come with a death sentence?
When our souls open up in love to another person, it is the purest deepest sort of love there is.  Our hearts choose who we love.  When that choice has come from deep inside, love does not care what gender, race, or religion is involved.  It only sees through love.
It has been said that all it takes for evil to thrive is for good to do nothing.  I also say that all it takes for hate to grow is for love to do nothing!
Stand in love.  Put love out into our world.  Begin where you are and let it flow from you.

Anticipation...

I was told to be sure to get Mickey up early in the morning.  Why, you ask?  She was going to spank me.  She and I are on different sleep schedules.  I am normally up all night.  It is not something we chose, it has just worked out that way because of my body.
Before she went to bed, we had about an hour of intimate time together.  It was wonderful.  As she was kissing me good night she looked at me and said... be sure to wake me up early in the morning.  That tone made it clear what she wanted.  She was going to start her day by giving me a good spanking.  She went to sleep with happy thoughts.  Me?  I had all night long to think about what was going to happen in the morning.
It is times like this that always make me look at myself and think back over the past few days.  Have I done anything wrong?  Did I cross a line somewhere?  The answer is usually no, I am quite the angel after all :p  Still, I do it any way.  No, this was for pleasure, hers, maybe not mine so much, lol.
No matter what I do, my mind still wanders to the morning and the spanking that is coming.  Sometimes, I think this is a secret weapon of Tops.  Building anticipation.  They are pretty good at it for sure.
The anticipation builds and builds.  It is like an entity in it's own right.  I can feel it in my whole body.  The tingling in my backside.  The butterflies in my stomach.  My whirling thoughts.  Will she use only her hand?  Will there be a warm up?  How hard is it going to be?  How can she say she is going to spank me and then roll over and go to sleep??
I did wake her up early.  She did take me over her lap right there on the bed.  Her hands, so warm and soft stroking my skin.  Slap after slap raining down on my bottom.  The fire building as she concentrated on only one cheek for awhile.  MmmMmMmm.
Anticipation can stir a lot of things inside of me, but oh man is it worth it!!

Spanking Thoughts

The state of uncertainty is not a comfortable place to be in.  The *not knowing* seems to cause more stress all the time.  Often we expect the worst, or so it seems.  I think this is especially true when facing a spanking.  As a bottom, I am in no way in control.  I have no idea how long the spanking will be.  I don't know how hard it will be or how much sting is coming my way.  The anticipation can be both thrilling and cause dread at the same time.  Sometimes I am certain that Tops do this on purpose....drawing it out.  Making us wait and wonder.  There is definitely such a thing as a gleeful sadist!  I have run into a couple in my life when it has come to spanking!  You know the type.  They get the right smack in the right spot, getting the right response and then they laugh and do it 10-20-30 more times!  It is painfully funny.  There is also those that raise their hand up high and you just know this huge strike is coming.  They swing hard and then lightly tap the butt!  It messes with our heads and they love it!
I cannot imagine ever getting bored with spanking.  I think if boredom sets in, someone is doing something wrong.  For us it is mostly playful and fun.  It is never the same.  Sometimes we laugh from beginning to end and I love that.  Times like that sometimes bring more swats because we each tease the other about laughing!  Spanking is a part of our life.  I can't imagine it without it.  The day may come where my body can't take a spanking any more.  If it does, I would be out looking for a spanking partner for Mickey.  Hopefully, my last day on earth is a day when I have been spanked.  Better yet?  I hope when it is my time to pass on, I am sent off with a red backside!

Spanking a good girl

Her lap so inviting.  Waiting for me.  I have done nothing wrong.  This is not maintenance.  The butterflies in my stomach twitch in a delightful way.  I know the heat of her hand and my body is craving it.  Kneeling beside her, waiting eagerly for the invitation to lay across her thighs.  She readies herself, finding the most comfortable position for herself.  Can she hear my heart that is racing, urging her on?  Time drags on even though I know that it is only seconds.  My soul is ready for this.   She turns and looks at me.  The knowing smile on her face sends a shiver of pleasure running through me.  A slight nod of her head and she pats her lap.  Trying to contain the monster of deep desire that threatens to dive over her legs, I stretch my body slowly over her lap.  My arms reach for the other side.  Her strong arms settles me in place.  My upturned pantie clad bottom moves ever so slightly under her hand.  I hold my breath as she lifts her hand.  Anticipation rises as I feel her hand raise.  In a gasp, I release the breath as her hands instead begin to roll the panties back, exposing my small white globes.  My hips rise making it easier for her.  Nothing is rushed.  My head echoes with my begging for her to begin.  The chant, *please, please, please* is an unending string of repetition within me.   Her hand softly strokes my waiting flesh.  Her words, almost a whisper.  Have you been a good girl?  My answer sticks in my throat as her hand lifts and comes down across my backside.  My eyes close as I pull the sensation deep inside of me.   The rhythmic rise and fall of her hand takes me away to a land of pure pleasure where everything is right in my world.  She changes it up and strikes with a force that brings a giggle from her lips, when I respond with an *ow!*.   She is enjoying this as much as I am.  The heat rises between my flesh and her palm and it delights us both.  She comments on the changing color of the skin as it goes from pink to scarlet.  My heart is light and filled with love.  I am a good girl.  Her good girl.  And it pleases both of us!

Learning to Love

I have been thinking about love the past couple of days.  Where does the ability to love someone come from?  Is love *just* an emotion? A feeling? An action?  I believe that we all are born with the capacity to love.  So I guess the first thing I believe about love is that it is a verb.  So, how do we learn to love?
I was never sure what love felt like.  I didn't know that anyone really loved me.  I didn't hear the words, I love you from my parents or anyone else in my life.  What I saw around me being done in the name of love, just wasn't appealing to me either.  I did see my mother and sister together sharing special times that I didn't experience.  I called it love and it probably was.  The affection between them was not something that I had with anyone.
I think we each develop our own sense of what love is to us.  We see children all the time parroting back an adults love.  It is shown in words and actions.  Is that how we learn it?  When we are loved, our capacity, to love, grows?  I think this is one of the keys.  We learn to love others and love our selves when we are first loved.  When we grasp our worth in the eyes of another.  I believe that this opens us up to accepting and giving love.  I think that when someone else shows us the things they cherish in us, it helps us to love ourselves which hopefully leads to us expanding that love by doing the same with others.

Small Things

Do small things with great love - Mother Teresa

Isn't that how we touch the world around us in the most meaningful way?  It isn't about the big things that get talked about in the newspapers and on t.v.  It is the day to day little things that we do for one another that changes lives for the better.  Something as simple as a smile, given freely and with compassion can change someone else's total day.
I do believe that change begins with me.  My heart cries over the horrible things that are happening in our world.  I know that I cannot make an impact on the cruelties resulting from the bombings.  Instead of allowing that to drag me down, I look for what I can do.  Compassion can begin with me.  I may never touch the life of one of the injured from the violence in our world and that is okay.  I can show my support in small ways.  The things I choose to do can touch one life, who in turn may touch another with the same compassion.
I see it like having one single candle.  Alone, my candle cannot light the way very effectively.  Yet, when my small light, lights another and that one turns and lights others, together we do shine brightly.  Even if the other candle that I share my flame with does nothing, it hasn't taken anything from me.  I lose nothing in the sharing.  It is the small things that we do with great love and compassion that need to spread in this world of ours.

My Daddie

Yesterday I woke up to new coloring supplies.  New pencils and markers and oils.  I was so surprised.  Then today I woke up to a new coloring book as well!  It is all animals with fantastic designs making up each one!  Then, the little me was taken out to go see the movie Zootopia.  It was such a wonderful time, out with my Daddie.
I don't dare ever say I like something.  More times than not, I am gifted it.  If I say that I would like to have something, I usually have it that day.  I have learned to stay quiet.  I know it delights her to give me gifts.  In that respect I am spoiled.  Thankfully, I have enough sense to keep my mouth closed when she and I go out somewhere.  Every once in awhile she will catch me looking at something a little longer.  That's when I see that look on her face and I quickly tell her that just because I am looking closely does not mean that I want it.  She explained to me once that she gets these things for me because I really never ask.  She tells me that I do it for every one else, so she does it for me.  I put off my wants and even needs sometimes, to surprise someone else.  I love doing that!  Daddie has had to help me put the brakes on that sometimes.  How do I put the brakes on her?  It is mostly little things and they do tickle me.  It is just that ....eh, I don't know what it is, lol
My Daddie has a huge heart.  Not just toward me either.  She very genuinely cares about people.  She is so open and so warm.  Today she saved the life of an elderly woman.  As she was walking out to the parking lot, the older woman was coming toward her rubbing her arm like crazy.  Daddie asked her if she was alright.  The woman said her arm really hurt and Daddie saw that she was ashen.  Daddie got her back to her car and seated and then the woman's speech started slurring.  Long story short, Daddie got the ambulance there and could tell them when the stroke started, got a hold of the woman's family, when the elderly woman became combative, Daddie calmed her down.  The woman didn't want the men around her and wanted only my Daddie there.  Daddie is like that.  So many of us would have just walked past that woman.  Not my Daddie!  She doesn't know a stranger and is always willing to help.  She is not afraid of getting involved, especially if she senses a need.
I am a very fortunate and blessed woman and girl.  I love my Daddie with all that I am!

Friendship

Friend:
1.  A person whom one knows and with whom one has a bond of mutual affection, typically exclusive of sexual or family relations.
2. A person whom one knows, likes and trusts.
3. Someone you love and who loves you, someone you respect and who respects you, someone whom you trust and who trusts you.
4. A person you know well and regard with affection and trust.
5. Someone who regards you with respect and affection, seeking your welfare and wishing you well.
6. An associate who provides assistance. An ally.

These are parts of definitions taken from different dictionaries.  Number three is taken from the Urban Dictionary.
Having the friendship of another is a very precious gift.  A relationship built on respect, trust and love.  It is a mutual bonding that grows over time.  Sometimes, when you meet a new person, things just *click* and you know you have just made a new friend.  That in my opinion is very rare.  Having friends in our lives, is to me, something we need to work at.  It involves taking risks from time to time.  Stepping out of our own comfort zone.  Giving and receiving.  Understanding that friendship is a two way street.
In my life, I know that there is a need to nurture the friendships I am blessed with.  I have a couple of friends that even if we haven't spoken in months, when we meet up again or talk on the phone, it is as if no time has ever passed.  I believe we share this bond because together we laid a foundation of friendship between us.  We put the time and energy into it so that now when we are even apart for great spans of time, when we do reconnect the feelings are all still the same and blossom quickly.
I know that some people are very isolated.  Maybe there isn't even one friend in their life.  I am very aware that for some, this is a choice.  For others, they wished it wasn't like this.  Some turn to the internet and have found close friends this way.  It meets that need to *connect* emotionally with another person.  I have made friendships this way and taken it to real life.  There is a need for caution here because on the internet a person can decide to be anything they want to be, real or not.
Being a friend means to me that I give of myself to someone else.  It is about what I give, not what I get.  Sure, I get burned from time to time.  That is going to happen because that is life too.  It doesn't make me a bad friend or a bad person.  To me it doesn't necessarily make the other person *bad* in any way either.  It just wasn't meant to be.  I can accept that.  Not everyone we cross paths with is going to be a friend, nor would we want them to be.
When that connection is there though, it is a wonderful thing.  Friendships often bring out the best in us.  Why?  Because of love, respect and trust.  I can say to a friend that I am feeling crappy and that I know I have no real reason to feel this way.  I can trust that my statement will be received for what it is and know that the response I get in return is not going to be to belittle me.  We build one another up, not tear each other apart.
